Application:
Gum Dammar is used in plastic printing ink.
Gum Dammar is used in foods as clouding or glazing agent and for the manufacture of food gums.
Gum Dammar is also used as an intermediate in the emulsification of perfumes and aromatics in soap manufacture and cosmetic preparations.
Gum Dammar is also used as a topical treatment in the early stages of leprosy. The dammar is pounded and mixed with coconut oil before it is rubbed on the patient's skin.
